Junior team
Our junior team had mixed results in the last week. We played St Barrys on wendesday evening last in Kilmore in the 2nd last round of the league. It was a good tight game that St Barrys edged on a scoreline of 2-9 to 1-10. Sub used Ryan McLoughlin. We then travelled to Ballinlough on Friday evening knowing that to qualify for the Div 5 Quarter finals we needed to avoid defeat and that we did. In typical Kilmore spirit the team battled to the end and despite trailing by 3 points in injury time, a late penalty smashed to the net by Oisin Boland after the penalty been won by Daniel Burke secured us a 2-7 to 2-7 share of the spoils and a place in the league quarter finals. Kilmore team was Anthony Carroll, Shane Crowe, Padraig Earley, Liam Caslin, Damien Tiernan, Willie O Flynn, Aaron Devaney,  Peter Sheridan, Cathal Carney (0-2), Ben Donohue (0-3) , Jason McEvoy, Cian Ffrench, Ryan McLoughlin, Dara Feely (1-0), Oisin Boland (1-2). Sub used Daniel Burke. Our opposition in the quarter final won’t be known for a few weeks.
