Senior Team
Our O Rourke cup fixtures will be released on Wednesday of this week. All fixtures will be listed on our website www.kilmoregaa.ie as soon as we have them. The 1st round of the league is due to begin on the weekend of 23rd/24th of February.

Coaching Course
Roscommon GAA Coaching and games development are running foundation level coaching courses over the next 2 weekends. Its vital and mandatory for all managers and coaches to complete at least a foundation course. We would encourage everyone in the parish involved with teams or who has an interest in getting involved with teams in the future to take part in this foundation course. The courses last for 3 hours (7.30pm-10.30pm) on Friday evening and 5 hours on Saturday(10am-3pm). this Friday 15th & Saturday 16th the course is in the Abbey Community college, Boyle and the following Friday 22nd and Saturday the 23rd the course takes place at Kilglass Gaels GAA Club. The cost of the course is just €20. Anyone interested in taking part can contact Ann Sheridan or Gary Vesey.

Membership
Membership is now due and costs €40 for players, €25 for students, €10 for underage players and €20 for non players. Membership can be paid to Gerry Connellan or Gary Vesey. A full list of all paid up members will be published on our website and in the club rooms on the 1st March 2013.

Keeping an eye on the ball
Kilglass Gaels are holding a seminar on Monday the 25th of February at 7.30pm in the Kilglass club rooms. This is a special seminar that aims to offer inspiration and information to young GAA players, and their coaches, mentors, and administrators, while tackling some of the challenges they all may face during their sporting careers on and off the field. Everybody involved in sport – budding future stars, those who are competing at club, county or national level now, parents, coaches and managers are invited to attend and join in the interactive Night. More details are on our website www.kilmoregaa.ie

Club Rooms
We would remind all managers and coaches that our main pitch is closed for all training for the foreseeable future. Lights have now been erected on our 2nd pitch so all teams should be training on that pitch. We would also remind all mangers to ensure that the club rooms are locked and secured after they have been used.

The Gathering
The club reminds everyone that the Gathering weekend takes place from the 14th to the 16th of June 2013 in our parish. We encourage you to invite all your family abroad but especially your family living within Ireland to come home to the parish for the weekend. The Gathering committee will hold a once off fundraising night with a cake sale in Earleys Hillstreet on Saturday the 2nd March at 9pm.

10km Memory Run and 4km walk
A special run in memory of the late Sandra Earley will take place on Sunday February 24th at 2pm. Sandra died suddenly at the age of just 26 and was a member of the Kiltubrid ladies GAA team. Sandra also had strong links with our parish and club as she was a niece of our great clubman John Anthony Burke of the Curries. All proceeds from the run goes to a heart screening clinic at the matter foundation. Entry costs just €10 or €15 for families. Registration takes place at the Sheemore Inn, Kilclare at 12.30pm on the day. Anyone who wants more details contact Brian Carroll 087-2420896.

Best Wishes
Kilmore GAA wishes St Brigids GAA club the best of luck in the All-Ireland football semi final this Saturday in Mullingar. We also wish our club treasurer Gary Vesey a very happy birthday as he edges closer to the 40 mark this week. Anyone who wishes to have anything included in notes can contact Brian Carroll on 087-2420896.
