Gaeltacht Scholarships 2015

As part of our promotion of the Irish language, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael, Roscomáin are offering a number of grants to students who wish to improve their knowledge of the Irish language.  Applications are invited from full time secondary school students in Co. Roscommon. Each grant is worth €200. Successful candidates from 2013 and 2014 may not take part in this competition.  Students are to apply with a short essay as Gaeilge (300 words) entitled: An Cumann Lúthchleas Gael sa bhliain 2015” plus an application form which can be downloaded under the “Culture” Tab at


Completed applications should be forwarded to Tomás Ó Muirí, Oifigeach Cultúir agus Gaeilge, Roscommon County Board Office, Racecourse Road, Roscommon on or before Friday 24th April 2015, or via e-mail at  Applications after this date will not be accepted. Also, applications without a G.A.A. Membership Number or written clarification from the secretary of Camogie/Ladies Club will not be entertained.
