Kilmore Club Notes 22nd October 2012

Our junior team will hopefully be in action this weekend. Our Junior team are due to play Western Gaels in the league Quarter final and Boyle in the Northern B Championship semi final. It was unknown at the time of sending in notes which game will be played this weekend, fixtures details will be on our website and will be circulated via our club text. Our U-21 team will know their county semi final opposition after this weekend. Our U-14 championship game was postponed from Saturday and will now take place on Tuesday the 23rd of October at 5pm in Oran against Oran. Pride of the parish this week goes to our U-14 girls team who had a mighty win by defeating Elphin by 2-6 to 2-2 in the Division 3B final played on Thursday last. Panel was Natasha Munnelly, Aoife Butler, Aisling Butler, Grainne Burke, Aisling Earley, Sara Crowe, Ciara McManus, Siobhan Hooke, Clodagh Boland, Olivia Connellan, Jessica Feeley, Sarah O Beirne, Zelda Crossan, Lauren O Flynn, Eleanor McWeeney, Aoife Earley, Orla McGowan, Shauna McWeeney, Aine Earley, Eilish Caslin. Management was Mick Feeley & Mary MCGowan and team sponsor was JP Murray of ACME blinds. Well done to all the girls and management on this might result. Our minor ladies just lost out to St Faithleachs by 4 points. Kilmore ladies club have €10 county board tickets on sale with great prizes. Tickets are available from JJ MCWeeney and all the girls from the girls teams. We still have 14 still standing in our last man standing. We are now going in to week 9 and all players are listed on our website. Our draw was postponed from last week to this week and it will now take place this Friday night at 9.30pm in the Silver Eel. 1st prize is €1,000 and dont forget their is a great hamper draw for everyone who turns up for the draw. The club will hold a 8Km Run/Walk/Cycle/Crawl or whatever way you want to complete the 8km. this will take place on Saturday the 3rd of November at 12pm. Entry costs just €10 for adults and €5 for children to enter.
