Kilmore Club Notes 3rd December 2012

Junior B Final

Our Junior B final fixture against St Brigids was not confirmed at time of notes going to print. Its due to be played this Sunday in Kiltoom. As soon as we get confirmation of fixture we will let members know via text and details will also be on our website Whenever the game is we would ask all supporters to come out and support the team.


The Gathering

We would ask all members of the GAA in the parish who have yet to return their list of relatives living outside the parish to do so this week.


County Board Annual Convention

Roscommon GAA Annual convention takes place next Monday night in Castlerea GAA Grounds. The county Secretary's report in now on our website. The club will be represented at the convention by Brian Carroll, Gary Vesey, Tommie Kenoy & Harry Reynolds.


Kilmore GAA AGM

Our AGM takes place on Saturday the 5th January 2013 at 5pm in the club rooms. Within the next week all members will recieve nomination forms and motion forms.


Peter Joe's Card Game

Our annual card game takes place on Sunday night the 23rd December 2012 in Bracken's Hillstreet. Tickets will go on sale from this weekend and are priced at just €5 each. Tickets will be available from all memebrs of the executive and there will be great prizes on the night.


St Stephens Day

Our annual gathering will take place this year on St Stephens Day in the Kilmore Inn, Kilmore. Our final club draw of 2012 will take place on the night. Music and finger food will be provided and more details will be published next week.


Golf Society

Our next golf society outing takes place on Friday the 28th December 2012. More details next week and also details are now on our website.



The Scor Na nog county final takes place on Sunday next the 9th December. We wish everyone from the club taking part the best of luck. Anyone who needs more details or ticket details contact Annette McWeeney 086-3312530.



We wish our club member Aine Caslin a very happy birthday.


Votes of Sympathy

The club extends its sympathy to the Burke family Carrick On Shannon & Aughrim on the recent death of Mrs Burke.


Parish Tea Party

Kilmore GAA wishes the best of luck to everyone involved in the Parish Tea Party which takes place this Friday night the 7th of December 2012 in the Community Centre, tickets cost just €10.
