Senior Team
Our Murtaghs bar sponsored senior team were defeated last Friday evening by 3-8 to 1-10 by Roscommon Gaels. We made a good start to the game and 2 Stephen Gannon points and a Kevin Caslin point had us leading 3 points to nil. Roscommon Gaels then pushed on and scored 2-5 to leave us 8 down at half time. In the 2nd half we battled very well and got back within 3 points but just couldn't get any closer with Roscommon Gaels winning by 4 in the end. It was also good to see Noel Reynolds back training on Sunday after he received a bang to his head in the game. This Saturday we have a massive game in the league when we host Kilbride in Kilmore at 5.30pm on Saturday evening. We would ask for as much support as possible for the game.

Underage
Our U-14 team have qualified for the division 2 league semi final. No opposition or date is known yet. Our U-12 game against St Brigids did not go ahead last Sunday. Our U-12 team play St Barry's this Thursday evening at 7pm in Kilmore. On this Saturday as part of the Gathering weekend our club will host an U-10 in Kilmore GAA grounds. 5 teams will take part St Barrys, Kilglass Gaels, Shannon Gaels, St Ronans and ourselves. The blitz will get underway at 10.30am. We will need people to help out with parking and catering for teams and anyone who can help out is asked to contact Damien Devaney 087-2354374.

Ladies Football
Our U-12 girls team are in league semi final action this Monday the 10th of June at 7pm in Kilmore against Castlerea. As part of the Gathering celebrations the 2012 County championship winning U-14 girls team will receive their medals at half time in the Kilmore V kilbride senior men's game this Saturday in Kilmore at 5.30pm. We again congratulate the girls team and wish them an enjoyable evening on Saturday.

Co Board Tickets
We are still short of our Quota for our Roscommon GAA draw tickets. The draw takes place this Saturday the 15th of June. Tickets cost €100 and 1st prize is a brilliant prize of €35,000 with many other prizes. If we don't reach the quota the club will have to pay the difference. We would ask anyone who has yet to get a ticket or even a half or quarter share in a ticket to contact Gary Vesey 086-8986340 before this Thursday.

The Gathering Weekend
The Gathering festival in our parish takes place this weekend and we would encourage everyone in the parish to get out and about and enjoy the weekend and be part of it. All details and any updated of the Gathering weekend will be on our website www.kilmoregaa.ie  All our young children will be playing a special part in the weekend on this Friday at the burial of time capsule.

Roscommon V Mayo
We wish the Roscommon senior football team the very best of luck this Sunday in Castlebar against Mayo. Tickets are now on sale for the game. Kilmore GAA will not be taking any orders for tickets for this game due to the hectic week ahead with our festival in the parish. Tickets will be on sale from Roscommon county board office all this week and can also be purchased in Glancys Super Valu, Carrick-On-Shannon.

June Club draw
Our 2nd draw of 2013 will take place this Sunday night in Brackens Hillstreet at the Irish traditional music night which is part of the Gathering weekend festival. Someone will be €1,000 richer by 11pm Sunday night.
