Kilmore GAA Club Notes 17th August 2020

Intermediate Championship
Well done to our intermediate team who had a good 0-14 to 2-7 win over Castlerea on Sunday last in Kilmore in the 3rd round of the championship. Well done to the players and management on this important win. We have now qualified for the quarter finals and we have also been drawn out as the seeded team in the quarter finals. We will face either Creggs, Shannon Gaels or the winners of St Aidans V Ballinameen. The quarter final draw will take place on this Sunday. The club thanks all our stewards who helped out in hosting the game in Kilmore. 

Our U6, U8 and U 10’s will continue to train every Friday evening at Kilmore Pitch at 6.30 pm. Can all parents ensure that all players are signed in with the Covid Supervisors when dropped off at the Grounds. Kilmore U12’s drew away to St Barry’s on Saturday 15th August. Next league fixture for Kilmore U12’s is against St Ciaran’s  on the 22nd  August at 10.30 am at Fuerty GAA Pitch. Our U14 combined Division 1 team began their league campaign with impressive  back to back wins first away to Western Gaels on the 11th August  and  then against Clann na Gael in Croghan on the 13th August. Our U14 combined Division 4 team were narrowly beaten away to Paraic Pearses at Woodmount  on the 12th August. Our U14 Combined teams have no games for the week ahead. Our U16 Combined team are next to play on the 17th August against Boyle at 19.00 in Kilmore and then away to Strokestown on the 21st August at 19.00. Our U18 Combined team suffered a loss at the start of  their Divsion 1 League campaign on the 10th August against Boyle in Kilmore.
Our U18 team have no games for the week ahead.Best of luck to our underage teams for the week ahead
