Kilmore GAA Club Notes 1st February 2016

Dinner Dance
Our Annual Dinner Dance took place on Friday night last in the Percy French Hotel. The following awards were presented Senior player of the year - Aaron McEvoy, Junior player of the year - Jamie Sharkey and personality of the year - Trevor Hunt. Presentations were also made to Shane & Checly Sharkey, Diarmuid & Roisin  Carney and Jason & Mary McEvoy who got married during the year. The club thanks everyone who attended the dinner dance. Thanks to the following who all sponsored spot prizes on the night Glasson Hotel Athlone, Gay Dowd, The Kilmore Inn, Earlys Hillstreet, Richard O Dowd, Strokestown florist, The Silver Eel and Joe McEvoy of Corrib Oil. Thanks to the staff and everyone at the Percy French Hotel for their excellent service and lovely meal. 

Operation Transformation
Our Operation Transformation gets underway on Monday the 1st of February at 8pm in the Clubrooms with registration and a quick talk.  Group walks and events will be organised for every day until Easter Saturday so start Spring the healthy way and get ready for lent by turning up at the clubrooms at 8pm on Monday evening. 

General Meeting 
A general meeting of Kilmore GAA will take place on this Wednesday night at 9pm in the clubrooms.All members are encouraged to attend. 

Our 50/50 jackpot of €290 was won by Amy Jane Howley. The €25 winners were Oisin Foley, The Club Syndicate, Annette McWeeney and Rhys Gannon. Thanks to Gary Vesey and his team of sellers. Next up is Tommie Kenoys team on selling duty. Kilmore Foroige club are holding a Concert on Saturday the 5th of March 2016 in the Community Centre. Everyone is encouraged to attend and support our Youth club.
