Kilmore GAA Club Notes 23rd March 2014

Our Murtaghs bar sponsored senior team put up a battling performance on Sunday to draw with Elphin in Round 2 of the O Rourke cup. Our next game is in 3 weeks away to Clann Na Gael.
 
Our 1st draw in our annual fundraiser will take place on this Sunday night in Earlys Hillstreet. Tickets are still on sale from members of the club and cost €100.
 
The Kilmore GAA golf societys first outing of 2014 takes place this Sunday in the Slieve Russell. New members are welcome and can you contact Tommie Kenoy or Gary Vesey if interested.
 
The club is staging 2 one act plays in the Community Centre on Friday April 4th at 8.30pm. The two plays are entitled "Where There's a Will" and "Bedtime Stories" They will be performed by the Kilglass Players. Admission €10 and starting time 8.30pm sharp. Tickets available in local pubs and shops or from any club officer.
 
Well done to the Roscommon U-21 team on reaching the Connacht U-21 final. Congratul;ations to our former player and junior manager Dermot Sheridan who got engaged recently and congratulations and best wishes to our current player Diarmuid Carney who got engaged to Roisin Creegan.
