Kilmore GAA Club Notes 25th June 2018

County Cup
Our Senior team were defeated by Western Gaels on Wednesday evening last in the quarter final of the County cup. Our next O Gara cup game is against Creggs in 2 weeks. 

Junior team
Our junior team were defeated on Sunday last by St Josephs by 2-17 to 2-15 in the Div 5 league in Kilteevan. Our team was Alan Glancy, Padraig Earley, Liam Caslin, Damien Tiernan, Paul Beirne, Patrick Doyle, Willie O Flynn, Peter Sheridan, Daniel Burke, Jim Gilchrest, Ben Donohue, Oisin Boland, Fiachara Doyle. subs used Donal Carroll & Karol Foley. Our next junior game is this Sunday at 2pm in Kilmore against Oran. 

Well done to Aughrim NS who won the County final last week in Ballyleague. hard luck to Scrabbagh NS who were defeated in their final. Our U-12 team had a good win in the Keenan cup against Tulsk last week. On Tuesday evening next at 8pm our Masonite sponsored minor team start their championship campaign against Elphin/Ballinameen in Elphin. 

Summer Camp
Places are filling up very quick on our summer camp which takes place in July from 23rd of July to the 27th of July. Camp is super value at €60 per person and there will also be family discounts. Ladies Football
Hard luck to our U-12 girls team who lost to Ballinameen in the Division 2B final. Well done to all the girls on their hard work over the past number of months. Thanks to the management for all their efforts. Well done to the Roscommon intermediate team on winning the Connacht title on Sunday last.
Club Rossie 
Club Rossie annual draw tickets are now on sale for 2018. Bronze Tickets cost €100 for 1 entry in to a draw with a chance to win a top prize of €20,000 and also entry into a draw to win All Ireland football and hurling final tickets. Gold tickets cost €230. Included in this package is 4 entries into a draw to win €20,000, an exclusive Roscommon polo shirt, car sticker and entry into a draw to win All Ireland football and hurling finals tickets. The club extends its sympathy to Richard & Patricia O Dowd on the death of Patricias mother Mona Cafferty. The club wishes to thank Junior & Carmelita Caslin, Trevor Hunt, Geard Fitzmaurice, Shane MCElhone and Michael Connellan who represented the club as stewards for the Connacht final in Hyde park. The club congratulates Joe & Frances McEvoy who celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary at the weekend. Our 50/50 jackpot of €474 was won by Charlie Burke, Hillstreet on Sunday week last. Our €25 winners were Hughie Clyne, Kevin Mulvey, Martin Glynn and Damien Monaghan. Thanks to Pamela McGauran and her team of sellers. Our next 50/50 draw takes place this Sunday night and Jamie Sharkeys team are on selling duty. The draw takes place in Earleys Hillstreet.
