Our U-14 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels play Eire Og this Wednesday evening at 6.45pm in the Division 2 championship semi final in Frenchpark. Please come out and support the team. Our U-12 team get their campaign under way on this Friday the 30th of August against St Brigids.
Minor Team
We wish John Gannon and Mick Murtagh and the Roscommon minor team the very best of luck as they face Tyrone this Sunday in Croke Park. We would ask everyone to get the Roscommon colours out this week to support the team. The club are looking at the possibility of running a bus. A decision on running the bus based on interest will be made on Tuesday evening so anyone interested is asked to contact Brian Carroll 087-2420896 before Tuesday evening.
"Eat less, Move More"
Our parish is set to become a very healthy parish! Next Tuesday night the 3rd of September at 8pm our 8 week health and fitness challenge will begin. Everyone will be weighed in and a full day by day event plan for the 8 weeks will be given to everyone. Our challenge is to loose 32 stone as a group in association with the 24/32 challenge. The final night of the 8 week challenge will take place in conjunction with the challenge 24/32 drive around Ireland on Saturday night the 26th of October. So we would encourage everyone to come along and be part of something very exciting while improving your health. Our challenge is to loose 32 stone, 1 for every county so the more people who turn up next Tuesday night the easier it will be for the whole group to reach the target.
