The Kalzen sponsored senior team finished up their season with a 2-10 to 1-11 win over Boyle in the O’Rourke cup.

Congratulations to the Kilmore U14 girls who had a fantastic win over Kilbride in their semi final.

The club draw was held in Brackens on Friday night the following were the lucky winners €1000 Gerard Fitzmaurice, €500 Brian Fitzmaurice, €200 Joe McNiff , €100 Christy Carney, €100 Joseph O Beirne and the shopping voucher was won by Agnes Gannon.

Our Dunnes bar sponsored junior team will play St Michaels this Sunday at 1pm in the Northern semi final in Elphin.

Operation Transformation has now entered the last few weeks and the competition is really hotting up. The Chairman has been spotted out shopping for a new pair of skinnies and a low cut Hunky Dorey top. He was having great difficulty getting them in the Roscommon colours. The Councillor spoke to the media after the last weigh in and stated that he is facing the biggest challenge of his life but he is hoping for a swing towards him in the last week or two of the campaign. Meanwhile the SRN has worn out his third pair of runners and is actually sourcing a new sponsor. We wish them all well in the last few weeks.
