Our junior game was postponed last Saturday and has been refixed for the weekend of 18th of October. We thank St Faithleachs for their cooperation with refixing the game. The junior team next game is this Saturday against Shannon Gaels at 4.30pm in Croghan.

In relation to our underage teams within the Club a decision was made due to the rise in Covid cases within the county to suspend training for our non competitive underage teams for the remainder of 2020. Our Underage Coaches have put in a lot of time and effort into the training of our underage teams and the organisation of Blitz’s over the last number of weeks. Kilmore Gaa Club would like to thank our Underage  Coaches and acknowledge their efforts ensuring the safe return of the children’s coaching sessions in difficult conditions during this Covid pandemic. Our Coaches were as follows Under 6’s : Dermot & Yvonne Foley, Padraig & Karen Holohan and Cleo Hanly, Coaches Under 8’s : Breian Carroll and Derek Connellan, Coaches Under 10’s : Gerry Fitzmaurice, Siobhain Hunt, Damian Beirne and William O Flynn. Also in relation to our Under 6’s  we wish to acknowledge the generous gesture in relation to the sponsorship of footballs and goodie bags to each individual player by Dermot & Yvonne Foley and Padraic & Karen Holohan.Looking forward to the return of all our underage players and coaches to the pitches in Kilmore in early 2021. Our U12 Team are provisionally fixed to play St Barry’s in Saturday 3rd October at 11 am in Kilmore in the Keenan Cup. Our U14 Division 1 combined team are next set to play Roscommon Gaels in the Division 1 Cup semi final in Croghan on Sunday 4th October at 12.45pm. Best of luck to all our underage teams for the week ahead.
