Kilmore GAA Club Notes 28th October 2013

Eat Less, Move More
Our 8 week fitness challenge came to an end last Saturday night with a brilliant night in Hillstreet. Well done to the individual winners Gerard Hunt, Clare Collins, Josie Munnelly, John Llyod and Joann Finnerty.

Challenge 24/32
the adventure around Ireland took place last weekend and proved a great success. A brilliant crowd turned out when the crew arrived back at 10.45pm in Hillstreet. Thanks to everyone who helped out in anyway over the weekend. Thanks to tickets buyers and sellers, everyone who gave donations, everyone who made and served food. Thanks again to everyone who helped out in anyway.

Club draw
Our 3rd draw of the year took place last Saturday night with the winners as follows €1,000 Colm Garvey, €400 Padraig Flynn, €200, JP Carney, €100 T & M McGovern, Hampers Michael HP Connelan and Shane McElhone.
Junior Team
Hard luck to our junior team who were defeated on Monday in the Northern semi final by Boyle. Thanks to the management of Anthony Carroll and Colm Garvey for all their work during the year.

Other News
On the 3rd November we play Kilglass Gaels/St Barrys in the Garda cup. Roscommon GAA are running an online GAA coaching course. More details are available on the Roscommon gaa website. Hard luck to our U-14 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels who were defeated in the U-14 league final on Thursday evening last. Our race night takes place on the 29th of November in The Kilmore Inn, horse and Jockeys are now on sale.
