Well done to our King & Moffat sponsored Intermediate championship team who qualified for the Quarter finals of the championship thanks to a draw with Tulsk on Sunday evening last. We will now play the winner of the B side of the Intermediate championship which will be either Eire Og, St Aidans or St Barrys and will take place either the 10th or 11th of September.

Kilmore Does Strictly
Our launch night took place on Friday night last in the Silver Eel and proved to be a great success. A full list of dancers and couples will be listed next week. Thanks to everyone who turned out on the night. Fiona Tiernan will hold a 8K Family Fun run and walk at 12pm on Sunday the 11th of September. Registration gets underway at the pitch at 11am on the day. Entry costs just €10 for adults and €5 for children. Prizes and refreshments served after the race.

Our minor team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels were defeated on Thursday evening last by Castlerea. Our U-8 and U-10 teams had a great day out at the Connacht blitz on Saturday last in Ballyhaunis.

Other News
Well done to Junior Caslin who won our 50/50 jackpot of €277 on Sunday night last. The €25 winners were Donna Rowley, Mark McMahon, Rachel Devaney and Ian Connellan. Thanks to Gary Vesey and his team of sellers. Our 50/50 draw will now take a short break to avoid clashing with our Kilmore Does Strictly fundraising and will get underway again on Monday the 24th of October. Congratulations to Derek and Clare Connellan on the birth of their baby daughter Ava who was born on Friday last. Ava surely created history on Sunday by becoming the youngest ever Kilmore support to attend a Kilmore match.
