Kilmore GAA Club Notes 29th September 2014

Our minor team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels were defeated on Sunday by Roscommon Gaels on a scoreline 2-11 to 2-10 in the championship semi final. Thanks to all the players and management for their efforts during this year.


Our 50/50 draw takes place this Sunday night in the Kilmore Inn. Clare Caslins team is on selling duty this week. Tickets are also on sale in all the local pubs and Padraig Flynns.


It’s that time of year again when we ask you to warm up the vocal chords or dust off your dancing shoes and participate for Kilmore GAA club in Scór na nÓg! Open to all GAA club members under the age of 17, there are a number of categories to suit a variety of talents—representing the best of Irish culture and heritage, these are as follows:  Figure Dancing, Solo Singing, Instrumental Music, Recitation,
Ballad Group, Novelty Act/Léiriú, Question Time and Set Dancing. So, if you would like to represent Kilmore GAA Club in Scór na nÓg, contact Olive at 086 3109753.

Clay Pigeon Shoot

A Clay Pigeon shoot will take place this Saturday the 4th of October at 12.30pm at the pitch. Experienced and beginners welcome to take part. Guns & Cartridges will be supplied where necessary.

Golf Outing

The next Kilmore GAA Golf Society outing will take place on the 12th of October in Headfort Golf Club in Co Meath. To reserve a time contact Tommie Kenoy 087-7669017.
