Kilmore GAA Club Notes 2nd February 2015

Dinner Dance

This Friday night see our annual social night out taking place in the Percy French Hotel, Strokestown when we hold a dinner dance. A 4 course meal will be served and this will be followed by music from Billy Garvin. Numerous awards will be presented on the night along with the Girls U-16 medals. Tickets cost €20 and are available from Brian Carroll, Jennifer Connellan, Tommie & Teresa Kenoy, Trevor Hunt, Gerry Tiernan, JJ McWeeney and Padraig Doyle. We would encourage everyone in the parish to come out for what will be a mighty night. A small number of tickets remain and can be purchased up until this Thursday.

Suicide Awareness Workshop

Shannon Gaels GAA club are holding a 3 hour Safe talk Workshop on suicide awareness on Thursday the 12th of February 2015 in Croghan Community Centre. Anyone interested in attending must contact Teresa Conlon on 086-3596604 this week.

Childrens Crumlin Fundraiser

The organisers of the recent Crumlin Childrens Fundraiser whcih took place in the Kilmore Inn recently wish to thank everyone for their the support in raising over €1,300 on the night.

Other News

Our 50/50 Draw took place on Sunday night last in the Kilmore Inn. Our Jackpot was €660 and this was won by Danny Rogerson from Ballyforan. Thanks to Clare Caslin and her team of sellers. Thanks to Joe McCabe and the Kilmore Inn for the food provided on the night. Gary Veseys team are now on selling duty and tickets are available in all usual outlets. The club extends its sympathy to Siobhan Connellan on the recent death of her father and also to Michael McGuire on the recent death of his father. Well done to John Gannon who was part of the Roscommon U-21 team that won the Hastings Cup on Saturday last.
