Kilmore GAA Club Notes 31st March 2014

Table Quiz

A table quiz will take place on Thursday the 17th of April 2014 at 9pm in Glancys bar, Cortober to raise funds for the U-14, U-16 and minor teams of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels.

 

One Act Play

The club is staging 2 one act plays in the Community Centre on Friday April 4th at 8.30pm. The two plays are entitled "Where There's a Will" and "Bedtime Stories" They will be performed by the Kilglass Players. Admission €10 and starting time 8.30pm sharp. Tickets available in local pubs and shops or from any club officer.

 

Club Draw

Our 1st club draw of 2014 took place on Sunday night last in Earleys, Hillstreet and the following were the winners €1,000 Denise & Delores Tiernan, €400 Joseph O Beirne, €200 Sinead Cryan, €100 Tommy Beirne, Hamper Donal Carroll and hamper for person present at the draw Clare Caslin. Thanks to everyone who attended the draw and special thanks to everyone who bought and sold tickets.

 

Golf Society

Our Golf society outing took place last Sunday in the Slieve Russell. Winner on the day was Jamie Sharkey. Longest male drive on the day was PJ Sharkey and longest female drive on the day was Mary King. Overall golfer of the year for 2013 was Tommie Kenoy. Ladies match play winner was Mary King and Mens match play winner Adrian Beirne. New members of golf society always welcome.

 

Other news

All roads lead to Pairc Sean this Saturday and we wish the Roscommon U-21 team the very best of luck in the Connacht final. Club Rossie tickets are now on sale from all members of the executive.
