County Final

All roads this week lead to Strokestown at 4pm on Sunday as our King & Moffat sponsors Intermediate team play Oran in the Championship final. We would ask everyone to get the colours out this week and show your support for the team. We wish the players and management the very best of luck on Sunday. We would also ask for a massive Kilmore crowd to make the trip to Strokestown on Sunday and support the lads.

Well done to our minor team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels who defeated Michael Glaveys on Sunday last in the County Division 3 Championship Semi Final. Our U-12 team were defeated by St Barrys in the Keenan Cup. Our U-10 team reached the Kevin Hanley final at the weekend by defeating St Barrys and Elphin/Ballinameen. After a great final we lost out to Shannon Gaels by 4 points. Congratulations to Shannon Gaels on winning the final. Well done to our U-12 skills team who came 2nd in the County final and will now go forward to the Connacht finals.

Kilmore Does Strictly

This Friday night we have a music night in Earlys Hillstreet and also a Rose of Drumsna competition in Duignans both on Friday night. On Saturday night a cake sale will take place after mass in the Community Centre and on Saturday night Jamie Sharkey hosts a Horse Racing Night and Auction in the Kilmore Inn getting underway at 9.30pm. Our Dancers are working very hard at the moment as the 21st of October gets Closer. On Tuesday next the 11th of October at 8pm in the Community Centre a evening with Sham will take place and also a celebrity chef will be there. Thanks to everyone who has supported all our fundraising events so far.
