Junior Team
Our junior team were defeated by Boyle on Saturday evening last in the league. This brings the league to an end for the junior team and they finished in second place in the group. Their next game is against Boyle in the Northern semi final of the championship. The date for this game has yet to be confirmed.
Under 21
Brendan Burke has been appointed our U-21 manager for 2013 and we wish him the best of luck. We are in group B of division 3 along with Ballinameen and Kilglass Gaels. Times and venues for these games have yet to be confirmed.
Our U-12 team defeated St Brigids last Friday evening in the league. The U-12 next game is this Friday at 7pm against Shannon Gaels in Croghan. Our U-14 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels had a good win over Eire Og in the semi final of the division 2 championship on Wednesday evening last. We now face Tulsk in the final in the next few weeks. Our U-16 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels play Roscommon Gaels in Kilbride on this Wednesday at 7pm in the championship.
Last Man Standing
We now have 37 people still standing in our last man standing competition. Full list of names etc is now on
Eat Less, Move More
Our 8 week challenge of Eat Less, Move More gets underway this Tuesday evening at 8.30pm in the Clubrooms in Kilmore. The 8 weeks will consist of a fitness and healthy eating plan and will include daily group exercises. We also will have jiving classes weekly to help get the parish in good shape. We also aim to loose 32 stone as a group so the more turns up the better. So we would encourage everyone to come along on Tuesday evening the 3rd of September and be part of this very special challenge.
