Intermediate championship
This Sunday we face St Dominics in Kilmore at 2pm in round 3 of the Intermediate championship. We wish the team the very best of luck.

Underage
Our U12 team was beaten on Thursday evening in the Summer league by Michael Glaveys.
On Saturday our U12 ream took part in the second annual Joe Flynn tournament in Carrick on Shannon as defending champions. We recorded three wins in the group games over Castlebar St Mitchell's, St Marys and Fenagh. We over came St Joseph's of Leitrim after extra time in the Semifinal. Despite a huge effort by the players we lost the final by a point to the lillywhites of Clane Co Kildare . Well done to the players and to the management team of Darren Keirns and Nicola Craughwell. Our U8 and U10 teams took part in the County Blitz in the centre of excellence in Ballyhaunis on Saturday.  On Monday our U16 team plays Padraig Pearses in woodmount at 7:15pm. On Thursday evening our Minors play St Ciarans in Mulhern Park at 7pm. Also on Thursday our U12 play Strokestown in Kilmore at 7pm in the Summet League. On Sunday our U14 Div 2 team plays St Brigids in Kiltom at 11am. Our U14 Div 4 team is due to play St Dominic's in Knockcrockery also on Sunday.

Ladies
Despite a tremendous second half performance it wasn't to be for our U14s in the final against Roscommon Gaels. 7 down at half-time the girls showed great spirit and fight but were beaten by a goal in the end. Thanks to all the girls for their attendance at training, to the parents for their support and to the Management for the time and effort they put in throughout the year. The next outing for some of the girls is with the U16s on Tuesday evening against St. Croans in Enfield at 6.30pm. Our U8s and U10s played the last of the Summer Games in Loughglynn. The U8s played Ballinameen and the U10s played Ballinameen and Eire Og. Thanks to Eire Og for their hospitality. The last round of the U12 7s Competition was on Wednesday night. The girls played Shannon Gaels, Roscommon Gaels and Castlerea St. Kevin's. Many thanks for the refreshments provided by Castlerea.

Club Draw
Kilmore GAA are this week launching our new and execiting fundraising draw with a top prize of a weeks holiday for 2 people in the Algarve. Tickets cos between €1 and €20. We have lots of other brilliant prizes. Tickets will be on sale from all members of the executive and players.

Val Glancy
The club extends its sympathy to the family of Val Glancy, Dangan who passed away last week. Val was a Kilmore player for many years and will be sadly missed in the parish. Kilmore GAA performed a guard of honour at Val’s removal last Thursday and the clubs thanks everyone who turned out.
