Kilmore GAA Club Notes 4th January 2021

Annual Club Draw
Our annual club draw took place on the 27th of December outdoor adhering to all restrictions. Kilmore GAA thanks everyone who purchased tickets for our annual draw. Your support is appreciated. the following were the winners from the annual draw €1,000 each Eoghan Sweeney, Padraig Doyle and Tiadh Tuffy c/o John Fitzsimons, €400 each Gary Notley, JP Carney and Anthony Carroll, €200 each Gerry Tiernan, Joe McCabe and Sean Boland, €100 each Gary Notley, Marty Burke and Fr McGauran, entry into 50/50 draw Jim King, Gerry Connellan and Mary Butler. 

Annual General Meeting 
Our annual general meeting took place before Christmas online. the following Committee were elected Presidents : Peter Joe Fitzmaurice & Teresa Kenoy, Chairperson : JJ McWeeney, Vice-Chairperson : Anthony Carroll, Secretary : Michael McGuire, Asst Secretary : Clare Connellan, Treasurer ; Carmelita Caslin, Asst treasurer : Shane McElhone, PRO : Brian Carroll, Minor Board chairperson : Nicola Craughwell, Minor Board Secretary : TBC, Registrar : Gerry Fitzmaurice, Senior Manager : TBC, Junior Manager : Mervyn Foley, Club Health & Wellbeign officer : TBC, Coaching Officer : TBC, Children Officer : Jennifer Connellan, County Board delegates : Gerry Tiernan & Michael McGuire, Players Rep : Jack Sharkey, Scor officer : Michael McGuire, Ladies Chairperson : Trevor Hunt, Rounders rep : Clare Connellan, History Committee Chairperson : Tommie Kenoy, Finance Committee Chairperson : Brian Carroll. 

50/50 draw
We had 2 50/50 draws over the Christmas season. Our 1 st draw results were as follows, jackpot €500 winner Brian Carroll, winners of €25 Harry Reynolds, Clodagh Connellan, Derek Connellan and Trevor Hunt. Bonus draw winners were Tommie & Teresa Kenoy, Michael McGuire, Gerry Tiernan, Martin Caslin and Teresa Ffrench. Our bonus draw took place on the night and the winner was Tommie & Teresa Kenoy who won a ticket into the Roscommon GAA apartment draw. We also held a special draw on the night with the following prizes Millionaire draw ticket won by Ailish McWeeney, bottle whiskey sponsored by JJ McWeeney won Edel Flood, Wine/chocolate sponsored by Carmelita caslin won by Rachel Carroll Mohidin, Gammon sponsored by Brian Carroll and won by Niamh Bourke, bottle of whiskey sponsored by Trevor Hunt and won by Marion Vesey, Bottle of whiskey sponsored by Colin hanly Silver eel won by Jenny Connellan, bottle of brandy sponsored by Trevor Hunt and won Sarah Kilkenny, bottle of wine sponsored by Carmelita Caslin won by Chloe & Mia Connellan, bottle of wine sponsored by Carmelita Caslin and won by Rachel burke, bottle of whiskey sponsored by Michael McGuire and won by JJ McWeeney. On the 3rd of January our draw took place and the jackpot was €160 and our winner was Jim Gilchrest. Our €25 winners were Annette McWeeney, David Leydon, Seamus Glancy and Gary Beirne. Thanks to everyone who purchased tickets. Our draw is now postponed until further notice to adhere to Covid regulations. 

Covid Regulations
Kilmore GAA gym is now strictly closed and must not be used during level 5 lockdown by any person. The club have also suspended our 50/50 draw and also all training activity at the club. Our walkway remains open to all our members and we encourage everyone to get out and use the walking track over the next few weeks. 

Other News
Kilmore GAA asks everyone to please adhere to all guidelines and to reduce all your contacts unless the contacts are absolutely essential. A number of volunteers are on standby to help out anyone in the Community who needs help, if you need any assistance over the next few weeks contact Brian Carroll 087-2420896. We need to look after each other and get through these times together.  We had some good news in the club over the Christmas, we wish Dermot Foley a very happy 40th birthday, congratulations to Ray Caslin and Fiona Kelleher who got engaged last week and we also congratulate Shane & Chelcy Sharkey on the birth of their daughter Fiadh.
