Kilmore GAA Club Notes 4th July 2016

O Rourke Cup
Our King & Moffat sponsored senior team were defeated on Sunday last by Strokestown in the league. We now are in 6th position in the league on 6 points with 2 games remaining against St Brigids and Oran. 

Junior Team
Our Junior B team had a good 1 point win against Oran B on Friday evening last in the Junior Championship. Our juniors play St Aidans this Wednesday evening in Kilmore and on Saturday evening we play St Josephs in the championship in Kilmore. 

Our U-10s took part in a blitz hosted by Elphin on Saturday morning last. Our U-12 team were defeated by Shannon Gaels in the Summer league. Our U-16 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels were defeated by St Ciarans on Saturday evening last. This Thursday evening at 7.30pm our U-14 team play St Ciarans in Fuerty. Our minors start their championship campaign this Saturday at 7.30pm in Boyle against Boyle. 

Summer Camp
Our annual Summer camp takes place for 2 weeks beginning on Monday the 18th of July. Places are limited this year so please contact Clare on 087-9471081 to book your place.  

Strictly Come Dancing 
Kilmore does Strictly plans are coming along very well, keep Friday the 21st of October 2016 free in your diary for a night like you have never seen before!

Well done to Gerry Gilchriest who won our 50/50 jackpot of €435 on Sunday night last. Our €25 winners were Holly Gilchriest, Ann Connellan, Joann Finnerty and Nathan Gilchriest. Well done to Jamie Sharkey and his team of sellers. Next on selling duty is Gerry Tiernans team. Kilmore GAA wishes the Roscommon senior team the best of luck this Sunday in the Connacht Football final. Kilmore GAA extends its sympathy to the family of the late Michael Beirne, Ballagh, Hilstreet who passed away on Sunday last. May he rest in peace.
