Kilmore GAA Club notes 4th March 2013

Minor Team
Our minor team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels ended up sharing the points with Roscommon Gaels on Saturday evening last in Lisnamult on a scoreline of 2-8 each. Our goals came from the Donohoe brothers of John & Ben. Full team is listed on our website.
 
Senior League
All roads this Saturday evening lead to Ballyforan as our senior team play round 2 of the senior league against St Aidans at 6.30pm. We would ask for as much support as possible for the team. We will also be providing updates via our twitter @GAAKilmore.
 
Junior League
Our junior team are in Division 4 group B along with St Michaels B, St Ronans B, Boyle B and Elphin C. Our junior team begin their league campaign this Sunday at 11am in Cootehall against St Michaels B team. All support would be welcome for the junior team. The remaining junior league fixtures are listed on our website www.kilmoregaa.ie  
 
Club Draw
our annual €100 club draw tickets are now on sale. A member of the club will be approaching people in the parish this week and we would ask for your support in this vital fundraiser for our club and we thank you for your continued support. We plan on having the 1st draw on St Patricks weekend. 
 
County Minor Board Quiz
Roscommon county minor football team will hold a table quiz this Saturday night at 9pm in The Abbey Hotel, Roscommon. Kilmore are represented on the panel by John Gannon so we would ask for as much support from the club as possible. Anyone interested in been part of a table from the club is asked to contact Brian Carroll on 087-2420896.
 
All-Ireland club final
The club are considering running a bus to the All Ireland club finals on Sunday the 17th of March in Croke Park. Anyone interested can contact Brian Carroll before this Sunday on 087-2420896. A decision will then be made on Sunday depending on interest.
 
The Gathering
The Gathering committee would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported their auction on Saturday night last and also thank everyone who donated money and items.
 
Other News
We wish Roscommon the best of luck this Sunday as they face Meath in round 4 of the National football league. The clubs camcorder is currently on the missing list so we would ask anyone who may have borrowed it to have a quick look and see if we can help locate it.
