O Gara Cup
Our final round and crucial O Gara cup game takes place this Sunday when we travel to Oran to take on Oran at 1pm. We wish the team the very best of luck in that game.

Junior team
Our junior team had mixed results in the last week. We played St Barrys on wendesday evening last in Kilmore in the 2nd last round of the league. It was a good tight game that St Barrys edged on a scoreline of 2-9 to 1-10. Kilmore team was Anthony Carroll, Shane Crowe, Padraig Earley, Liam Caslin, Damien Tiernan (0-2), Willie O Flynn, Aaron Devaney (0-1), Peter Sheridan, Padraic King, Ben Donohue (0-1), Cathal Carney, Cian Ffrench, Jason McEvoy, Dara Feely (1-2), Oisin Boland (0-4). Sub used Ryan McLoughlin. We then travelled to Ballinlough on Friday evening knowing that to qualify for the Div 5 Quarter finals we needed to avoid defeat and that we did. In typical Kilmore spirit the team battled to the end and despite trailing by 3 points in injury time, a late penalty smashed to the net by Oisin Boland after the penalty been won by Daniel Burke secured us a 2-7 to 2-7 share of the spoils and a place in the league quarter finals. Kilmore team was Anthony Carroll, Shane Crowe, Padraig Earley, Liam Caslin, Damien Tiernan, Willie O Flynn, Aaron Devaney,  Peter Sheridan, Cathal Carney (0-2), Ben Donohue (0-3) , Jason McEvoy, Cian Ffrench, Ryan McLoughlin, Dara Feely (1-0), Oisin Boland (1-2). Sub used Daniel Burke. Our opposition in the quarter final won’t be known for a few weeks.

Our U14 div 4 team defeated Western Gales in the championship. Our U16 team were narrowly defeated by St Ciarans. On Friday evening next our U14 Div 2 team play Padraig Pearses in Woodmount at 7pm.

It was a busy week for our U14s as they defeated Padraig Pearses by a point on Tuesday and then drew with Roscommon Gaels on Sunday. Next game for the girls is against St. Faithleachs in Kilmore on Sunday evening. The U12s took part in the 7s Competition and had games against Boyle, Shannon Gaels and St. Michael's/St. Ronan's on Wednesday evening. Our Minors play Castlerea in Kilmore at 8pm Thursday evening. Hard luck to Natasha Munnelly & Lauren Shanagher who were part of the Roscommon minor team who were defeated in the All Ireland final on Saturday last.
