Kilmore GAA Club Notes 7th September 2015

Pride of the parish this week goes to our U-16 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels who have qualified for the Division 2 Championship Final after defeating St ciarans on Sunday in the County semi final. The final will take place on Saturday the 19th of September where we will face Castlerea St Kevins at a venue and time to be confirmed. Our U14 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels were defeated last week by St Faithleachs. Our minor team are in action this Friday evening in the championship when we travel to Tulsk to play Tulsk at 6pm.
Operation Transformation
Operation Transformation townland challenge is back with a bang and gets underway this Tuesday evening the 8th of September at 7pm at the picth. Weigh in and talk with Gwen gets underway at 7pm. Why not join us for 6 weeks of walks, fun and lots more and maybe lose a few pound and then take part in the exciting Townland challenge in 6 weeks. Come along Tuesday to find out more!

Our 50/50 draw takes place this Sunday night in the Kilmore Inn and Clare Connellans team are on selling duty. Envelopes are on sale in the usual outlets and cost just €2 or 3 for €5. We have 8 people still standing in our Last Man Standing Competition, they are Aishling Earley, Daniel Carroll, Joe O Connor, Kevin Clabby, Anthony Carroll, Pauline Talbot, David Crowe and Trevor Hunt, check out what teams they have on our website. the club extends its sympathy to the Glancy family on the recent death of John Joe Glancy.
