​Dinner Dance

Our Dinner dance took place on Friday night last in the Percy French with a great crowd turning out on the night. A great night was had by all and thanks to the Percy French for their excellent food. Thanks to everyone who attended on the night and thanks to all who donated Spot Prizes. Our award winners were as follows Senipr Player of the year : Derek Connellan, Junior player of the year and the winner of the John Glancy memorial cup was Donal Carroll and John Gannon won the U-21 player of the year award. Personality of the year went to Peter Joe Fitzmaurice. Presentations were also made on the night to Derek & Clare Connellan & Gary & Claire Vesey who got married during the year. Our U-16 ladies who won the Division 3 title were presented with their County medals also on the night.

Senior/Junior Fixtures

Our Senior Championship and Intermediate league and Junior league fixtures are now on our website. Our junior team are in action this Sunday in the 1st round of the Division 6 league when we travel to Tulsk to play Tulsk at 2.30pm. All support welcome.


Club membership now due for renewal. This can be paid to our club registrar Gerry Connellan or club Treasurer Jenny Connellan. Membership costs Players €40, Students €25, Underage €10 and non playing members €20. It very important everyone is a paid up member before playing any games or training for any team this year.

Other News

Our 50/50 draw takes place this Sunday night and Gary Veseys team of sellers are on duty. The draw will take place at 10pm in Brackens on Sunday night. Envelopes are on sale at usual outlets in the parish. The Club will hold an executive meeting this Tuesday night at 9.30pm in the Clubrooms. All members of the executive are asked to attend. A meeting of the Club finance Committee will take place also on Tuesday night in the Clubrooms at 8.30pm. This week Kilmore GAA lost one of its greatest supporters with the death of Donal Connellan. Donal was a frequent supporter who attended many games throughout the years. To his wife Nellie, Sons Adrian, David, Don and all the extended Connellan family we extend our deepest sympathy. Thanks to everyone who helped out in the Guard of Honour at Donals removal on Wednesday evening. Kilmore GAA wishes St Croans the best of luck this Saturday in the All-Ireland Intermediate Club final in Croke Park.
