Kilmore GAA Club Notes 9th May 2016

Intermediate Championship
Our King and Moffat sponsored Intermediate team did not get into championship action last weekend as planned due to a clash with Oran and a Roscommon hurling game. The game will now take place this Saturday at 7pm in Castlerea,  Please come out and support the team.

Our U-14 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels made it 5 wins from 5 on Thursday last when they defeated St Domincs. The U-14 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels now play Oran this Friday at 7.30pm in Oran. Well done to everyone involved with the U-14 team. Our U-8's kicked of their season on Saturday morning last when they took part in a very enjoyable blitz in Ballyfarnon hosted by St Ronans. They blitz was a great success and thanks to St Ronans who as usual put on a great display in hosting the blitz.

Club Draw
Our 1st Club draw of 2016 took place on Saturday night last in Earlys Hillstreet. The winners were as follows €1,000 Phillip Martin, €400 Mary McPartlan, €200 Harry Reynolds, Hotel break sponsored by Lough Rynn - John Crowe, €100 Michael HP Connellan. Thanks to everyone who purchased and sold tickets for this important fundraiser. Our next draw will take place in August.

Club Rossie Draw
The annual Club Rossie draw is due to take place this Saturday night in Hannons hotel, Roscommon. Kilmore GAA has to reach its annual target of sales. Thanks to everyone who has already purchased tickets. Tickets cost €100 or €228 for the gold ticket. The draw has a top prize of €25,000 cash and many more prizes. Anyone who wishes to purchase a ticket and support Roscommon GAA can contact Jenny 086-0779493 or Brian 087-2420896.

Other News
The 50/50 draw took place on Sunday night last in the Kilmore Inn and the winner of the jackpot of €340 was Conor Hanly. The winners of €25 were  John Gannon, Katie Hunt, Niall Gannon and Kevin Caslin. Thanks to Clare Connellan and her team of sellers. Next on selling duty is Gary Veseys team. The club wishes one of our youngest supporters Katie Hunt a very happy Birthday this week.
