U-12 Girls Final Finishes In A Draw.

Kilmore 5-3 St Brigids 3-9
 
An exciting county final in Ballyleague ended in a draw as Kilmore and St Brigids will have to do it all again. St Brigids started the better team and after 15 minutes were 2-4 to 0-1 ahead, with Olivia Connellan getting the only score for Kilmore. Then Kilmore stepped it up and Lauren Sharkey scored a great goal for Kilmore followed by a point by Siobhan Hook. Then Lauren O Flynn finished to the net as Kilmore were back within 2 points. St Brigids then pulled 3 ahead with a good point but with minutes to go to half time a long ball was sent in and Jessica Feeley done very well to finish the ball to the net to leave the sides level at half time, 3-2 to 2-5. St Brigids made the dream start to the second half when the had the ball in the Kilmore net within 12 seconds of the re-start. Kilmore replied with a Lauren O Flynn point after great play by Lauren Sharkey to set up the score. Brigids then pulled 3 clear with a point from a 45. Then Shauna Burke won possession and put a great run together, her shot then hit the post and Shauna won the rebound and finished to the net to level up the game. Siobhan Hook then smashed the ball to the net to put Kilmore a goal up but this was to be Kilmore's last score of the game. Brigids then kicked 3 points without reply to give both teams another crack at becoming county champions.
